Education in fusion plasma physics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU)

Master's Thesis projects and PhD projects
Physics students can make Master's Thesis projects and PhD projects in fusion plasma physics in close
collaboration with the research activities of the group. The projects may be within the fields:
- Fast-ion physics and CTS (theory, data analysis, measuring equipment) or
- Turbulence and transport (theory and simulation). See Master's Thesis project suggestions.
Other projects may be arranged after discussions. Please inquire at fusion@risoe.dk
Graduate School in Nonlinear Science
The programme participates in the Graduate School in Nonlinear Science, a collaboration between Risø, DTU
and NBI. The school educates PhD students so they can utilise the newest knowledge within non-linear
dynamics both in industry and in research. Special courses and conferences are also arranged.
The school is an EU-Marie Curie Training Site.
Lectures for the general public
Lectures on fusion for the general public are given in connection with the Danish Festival of Science and DTU's programme on New Knowledge. |
