Research flue gas purification at Risø DTU is funded in several projects by the Programme Commission on Energy and Environment which is part of the Danish Council for Strategic Research and by Risø DTU as a part of the Danish finance act. The grants are called "Highly efficient electrochemical removal of soot, hydrocarbons and NOX from Diesel exhausts", "New Methods for Removal of Soot and NOX" and "Strategic Electrochemistry Research Center (SERC)".
