Collaboration with students and companies

The research group working on flue gas purification is always very interested in collaborations with students and companies. We have ongoing activities, but are always interested in new oportunities and possibilities that may forward our research.

Below you will be able see past student projects and ideas for future projects. 

Student projects

Projects can very from weeks to several months, and we encourage you to contact us if you are interested in the research we are doing, have specific ideas for projects or find some of our ideas appealing. Typically the projects are bachelor projects, master projects, summer student work and other project work. We can surely find a project with the relevant scope.

Previous projects:

  • 3 week project on electrode development, ferrites.
  • Final project, bachelor, addition of barium oxide to electrodes
  • Part time project work, electrode development, spinels
  • Master thesis, electrode development, K2NiF4-structures
  • Summer student work, three weeks, electrophoretic deposition

 

Ideas for student projects:

  • Low temperature sintering of electrochemical cells for flue gas purification
  • Impregnation of electrochemical cells (flue gas purification)
  • Manufacturing of advanced ceramic designs and prototypes
  • Development of novel materials for electrochemical reduction of NOX
  • Sintering study on electrode and electrolyte materials for cell and membrane applications 

 

Collaboration with companies:

We have a long standing tradition of collaborating with privately held companies, and within flue gas purification a collaboration exists between Dinex Emision Technology A/S and ourself, Risø DTU. We are always interested in oportunities to strengthen our competencies on areas we are not currently engaged in, so feel free to contacts us in any regard.
