Proceedings and presentations from Risø International Energy Conference 2009 are now available at risoe.dtu.dk

The conference focused on how to implement the recommendations from the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. How can we make the global CO2 emissions peak by 2020 and then fall considerably before 2050? See proceedings and presentations on our website. Here you will also find proceedings and presentations from three previous energy conferences.

The conference brought together 120 Danish and international experts from research and industry as well as authorities from the energy sector.

Risø International Energy Conference is a three-day conference held every second year at Risø. The conferences focus on current global energy issues and on how new achievements in science and energy research can help to address these global challenges.

A number of prominent international speakers are invited to open the conferences with Keynote presentations and the programmes also include about 50 presentations selected on the basis of a previous call for papers.

The target group for the conferences is researchers, industry, politicians, energy sector decision-makers, funding organisations, as well as international organisations, e.g. the EU, IEA and UN.
