Together with GE Healthcare, the Hevesy Laboratory in the Radiation Research Department at Risø DTU are planning to develop a radioactive tracer that can help make an early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Thus the cooperation can contribute to make earlier medical treatment possible. Today 65.000 people in Denmark are suffering from the disease.
