Risø DTU is participating in the industrial fair ‘Messecenter Herning’ from 4 - 7 September. We share a stand together with Århus University, Aalborg University and the National Tech Trans Network near by the stand of the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.
The fair focuses on Innovation and Future Energies. At Risø’s stand you can hear stories, based on practical examples, about the interplay between research and innovation.
For instance there are plastic solar cells, in a soft version and also encapsulated as in a solar cell panel. Read more
There are different samples of fiber composite materials, among these bio plastic reinforced with flax fibers and produced from maize used for a new kind of designer chair that can also be seen at the fair. Read more.
Another chair from Risø is the light floater – a bean bag with diode light, now produced by the company Morfoso. Furthermore there are several samples of diode lamps. Read more
You will also see plastic materials with nanoprint that have been produced in Risø’s cleanroom CleaR and a prototype of a spinner anemometer developed by a Risø scientist.
At the stand you will find scientists and business developers from Risø DTU.
